This is a preliminary design for one of the two berths 30C
in the northern port of Umm Qasr. The trial operation will take place within six months, and the crude oil pipeline will be extended from the oil fields in Basra to the two berths in a final stage, knowing that these two berths are directly linked to the international development road, which provides rapid logistical transport and handling. For oil derivatives, with a capacity of three thousand tons per hour, these two berths are 8 kilometers away from the Nebras petrochemical project, which Shell is building and is considered the largest petrochemical project in the Middle East.
